FEMALE
Nola vom Haus Tyson, AD, IPO1
Nola vom Haus Tyson is the foundation female for my program. She wasn’t my first working dog, but she was the first dog I ever got from a puppy, trained and titled myself back in 2010. Nola was bred by an incredible woman that has been influencing the German Shepherd Dog breed for much longer than I have been alive, Randy Tyson-Witmer. Randy trusted me with this good pup and has been a mentor to me ever since. I cannot say enough good things about this female. She is sweet and goofy, but strong and serious when needed. She put up with a whole slew of first-time-handler mistakes and took it all in stride. A forgiving female, but she made you work and earn the relationship. Not a soft dog, she could take a correction, but would never come back at me and she had a ton of heart. I loved her barking and grip and conformation to die for. She’s probably the most attractive dog I’ve ever owned – super masculine head, perfect top-line and larger made female 70-75lbs. Her pedigree is packed full of super dogs both in ability and as producers. Her mother was a superior dog that my training director who has been training dogs for over 30 years said she was top 3 of bitches he’d ever worked. I love these lines and you’ll see them continuing in the progeny of my breed program.
